People who get plenty vitamin K from foods like broccoli, spinach, kale, cabbage, asparagus, and green tea tend to have stronger bones than people who get too little.

Vitamin K helps build bones with calcium but also helps clot blood. People on blood thinners should not take vitamin K supplement without a doctor’s permission.
