By now you should know how passionate I am about nutrition and be living a healthy lifestyle. I am totally against diets but anything that can help me live a healthier life I am all for it. I  am a member of our local gym. I do personal training twice a week, Trx and Zumba classes once a week, and once or twice a week I train on my own. Some weeks I take 2 days off other weeks just one day. However, on my off day(s), I use the app to work out at home.

First  I use to think of calorie counting as useless, however, it is evident that if you eat more than you are burning logically you will gain weight over time. The first app I would like to introduce is Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal. This app allows you to enter your daily food intake along with workout activity and once completed at the end of the day you can see if you are heading on the right track. What is interesting about this app is that you MUST eat because if you ate too less than it will give the message as follows:

The free version works sufficient but you can purchase the subscription 1 month $9.99 or 1 year $49.99 the premium access allows you to see which foods are the highest in calories, nutrients, or macro. I prefer the premium package because it gives me a clear visual on which foods are better options than others. While this might seem like tedious work, the benefits of you eating the right amount of foods pays off.

My second favorite app is Seven 7 Club. This app enables you to workout in as little as seven minutes to thirty-nine minutes. There are full body, upper body, lower body, boot camp and stretch exercises. There is a range of workouts from beach ready. lose weight, get fit and focus. The free app works well but the premium gives you the options listed above. The subscription fee is $4.99 for one month or $39.99 for one year.

Both apps can keep or put you on the right track to a happier and healthier lifestyle.

  1. I love the fitness app tracker! At first, I thought it would be difficult to manage and use but, it isnt!

  2. I remember getting this fitness app, but for the life of me, I can’t remember the name of it and the reason why I got rid of it. I think I must have had low storage on my phone, so I had to end up deleting it -.- It was a great one too! I will check these ones out 🙂

    1. Give these a try let me know what you think!
