Instructions
Start by juicing the lemons. Roll them on a hard surface to release more juice before cutting and juicing.
In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with sugar or sweetener. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add cold water to the pitcher and mix well.
Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if needed.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
Serve over ice cubes, garnish with fresh mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
