We are all perfectly made by our creator, GOD. As babies, we lived a very healthy lifestyle. But, as we get older and take health into our own hands, we make poor decisions. With the hustle and bustle of life, our health is sometimes the last thing on our minds. It is easier to choose foods on-the-go than prepare a meal at home. Most of us realize the damage we are doing when it is too late and we are suffering from obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and others diseases.

I don’t believe we have to take medication to be healthy.

We need to:

  1. Choose the right foods that serve as medicines for our bodies.
  2.  Exercise daily or at least 3-5 days every week.

On my blog, I will share recipes and tips that work. I have been on several diets and realized none of those work permanently; it’s just a quick fix. My solution was to change my way of eating and exercise. Some weeks, I fall short, but that’s okay, I am not perfect.

While my site is named Beautiful and Healthy You,  the focus isn’t only on the ladies. Gents, you are more than welcome here!

I’m a certified health and nutrition coach. I have a doctorate degree; however, I’m not a medical doctor. Through my training, professional development, and studies, I know what our bodies need to live a much healthier lifestyle*.

Join me on this journey to a healthier lifestyle!

*Remember, always consult your doctor if you have any medical conditions before making changes to your diet.
