We’re looking to mix things up. Unfortunately, our experience here wasn’t very welcoming and the scent wasn’t to our liking. It appears that the cleaning supplies used may be the culprit.

The service

Upon our arrival, we inquired about the availability of gluten-free pasta. The hostess, who appeared to also be a busboy, directed us to check the menu, which suggested that there may have been a language barrier. Following this, my husband requested assistance from a staff member who spoke better English. Ultimately, we discovered that gluten-free pasta was available for an additional $3 fee.

My husband, daughter, and I decided to try out this restaurant. However, I was disappointed when our server interrupted our order to attend to a customer who had just walked in. Although my husband wanted to stay, I was tempted to leave due to the poor service.

The Order

For my meal, I requested penne pasta with spinach, asparagus, tomatoes, and mushrooms in a tomato sauce. While penne is not my typical go-to pasta choice, it was still enjoyable. The other orders at the table were mixed seafood pasta and plain pasta in Pomodoro sauce.

The Rating

I found the food to be satisfactory, particularly the sauce and pasta. However, the service was disappointing which would lead me to give a rating of 2.5 stars.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
