When we’re on vacation, we enjoy exploring new eateries that we wouldn’t normally frequent. However, we still stick to our usual dietary habits, which involve plant-based meals that are gluten and soy-free.
My daughter AJ introduced me to this amazing place that had received countless rave reviews. It was arranged like a food truck, with seating available. The ambiance was superb, giving off an island-like vibe. Upon arrival, we noticed a long line of people waiting to order, and about six different groups enjoying their lunch.
My spouse ordered the Chop Burrito, which includes a 12-inch grilled tortilla filled with cheese, black beans, pico de gallo, and Valentina hot sauce on a base of white rice. For protein, he chose jerk chicken, which came at a cost of $11.
During our meal, AJ ordered a burrito bowl priced at $6. This dish included yellow rice, black beans, pico, and Valentina. She requested to remove the cheese and white sauce. As for me, I opted for the BBQ jackfruit taco, which cost $9. Additionally, we shared a veggie taco priced at $7. This taco had spring mix, black beans, sweet potatoes, pico, cabbage, and Valentina. We also omitted the white sauce and cheese from this dish.
My husband seemed to enjoy his burrito, giving it a rating of 3.5 out of 5. However, I wasn’t too fond of the dishes we ordered. I preferred the veggie taco over the burrito bowl. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the corn tacos we requested and instead received flour tacos. The beans lacked seasoning, and the BBQ jackfruit didn’t taste very good compared to other jackfruit I’ve had. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Even our veggie taco was supposed to have beans, but it was served without them.
While visiting Finns, we stumbled upon a charming coffee and bakery shop as well as a lovely gift shop. I managed to find some wonderful souvenirs to bring back home. Though we wanted to grab a drink, we got carried away in the gift shop and failed to notice the bakery’s closing time.
