The Perfect Vegan Eggnog Recipe



  • Blender


  • 2 cups plant-based milk (almond, cashew, or oat) (your choice)
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) full-fat coconut milk (for creaminess)
  • 3-4 tablespoon maple syrup or 4-5 pitted dates (for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ cup favorite rum or bourbon for a spirited kick (adjust to taste)


  • In a blender, combine the plant-based milk, full-fat coconut milk, maple syrup or dates, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or spices according to your preference.
  • For a spirited version, add your desired amount of rum or bourbon and blend briefly to combine.
  • Refrigerate the eggnog for at least an hour to chill and allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Before serving, give it a good stir, as ingredients might settle.
