Now, I previously mentioned I love green smoothies, I usually add my protein powder for an after work out drink or quick meal replacement for breakfast or even lunch. Here is a list of my favorite protein powders. Sometimes green smoothies can be intimidating so, here goes another color! This is very creamy and tastes like banana pudding. Definitely, kid-approved!
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Spinach
- 1 Cup frozen strawberries
- 1 Cup plain kefir
- 1/2 medium banana
- 2 Tbsp pomegranate powder
- 2 Tbsp flax seed
- 3 Tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Scoop protein powder (optional)
Directions
- Add all ingredients in a blender along with 1 cup of cold water and blend.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
