There are so many different protein powders on the market. I have tried many types but these are some of my favorites based on taste and quality. I opt for organic and plant-based protein powders. They provide all the added vitamins and minerals. I add these protein powders to baked goods, breakfast items (pancakes, waffles, french toast), smoothies, or just mixed with water and have on their own. I  usually have my smoothies after my workouts but sometimes I drink it for a quick afternoon lunch. Here is my overall review of these brands:

  • Mixes well in water (without a blender)
  • No (chalky) aftertaste
  • Comes in a variety of flavors;  I usually get plain or vanilla for myself and chocolate for my sweet girl
  • USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project certified
  • High protein content (16mg -28mg) per serving
  • Low calories count (100-170 ) per serving
  • Fruits and veggies included
  • Alkaline greens included
  • Soy, gluten, and dairy-free and vegan
