I love tea. Anyone who knows me very well knows that I love tea and if you have read some of my previous posts:

You will most likely know I love a nice cup of hot unsweetened tea.  I use to drink about three (3) cups of tea a day and stopped but realize how much a difference it made to my body. So, I started back my 3 cups daily. My favorite is herbal; however, I do drink rooibos and oolong. It has been a while that I have drank oolong but rooibos tea is always in my pantry. I carry tea with me anytime I go out to eat and when I am traveling; it is no exception.

So, let’s talk about rooibos. Rooibos is caffeine-free. This red tea keeps your skin young, thanks to the array of antioxidants, such as aspalathin, which slows aging in cells. In addition, the tea also protects against UV rays and pollution.

One cup of rooibos helps combat dryness and improves your skin’s texture.

The rooibos anti-inflammatory compounds are proven to help relieve headaches and joint pains.

Enhance rooibos sweet flavor with citrus peels infused. It can be served hot or cold!

My favorite brand is Numi. Numi’s tea bags and loose teas are certified organic. Numi uses full leaf quality (FOP grade & above) organic tea in all of its products. Their full leaf teas steep slowly and evenly and deliver a smooth, rich flavor. Since Numi sources premium quality teas and herbs, there is no need to mask their teas and teasans with flavorings. You may be wondering what is teasan? Teasan or better yet (tisane) is an infusion (as of dried herbs) used as a beverage or for medicinal effects ( Numi Inc. P. B. C, 2018).
